  7.     control panel, rushes forward, and looks inside the
  8.     airlock to see

  12.     gasping for breath near the open door leading out
  13.     into space.

  18.             Mika.

  20.     Kira quickly works the control panel, and the
  21.     airlock door begins to slide SHUT.

  23. 52A  NEW ANGLE
  24.  
  25.     revealing Dukat hiding just around the corner, a
  26.     look of barely controlled panic on his features.
  27.  
  28. 53   INT. EMPOK NOR - INFIRMARY/PROMENADE
  29.  
  30.     The Midwife is bent over Mika's unconscious form.
  31.     The girl's skin is PALE, and she has faint HEMATOMAS
  32.     on her cheeks and neck. Kira and Fala stand a few
  33.     paces away from the bio-bed, watching with concern.
  34.  
  35.                     MIDWIFE
  36.             You got to her just in time.
  37.  
  38.     Dukat ENTERS, pushing past Benyan and Brin, who are
  39.     standing near the entrance to the Infirmary with a
  40.     small group of worried BAJORANS.
  41.  
  42.     Kira stares at him, suspicious that Mika -- the only
  43.     person besides Dukat that knows the truth about the
  44.     child -- would so conveniently have an "accident."
  45.  
  46.                     DUKAT
  47.             How is she?

  49.                     MIDWIFE
  50.             The depressurization caused
  51.             swelling in her meningeal tissues
  52.             -- I'm going to keep her sedated
  53.             until morning.
