  9.     After hours. Quark is sitting at the bar pouring out 
  10.     his heart for a change. JAKE is playing 
  11.     bartender to him, with a towel draped over his 
  12.     shoulder as he tries to mix drinks for the forlorn 
  13.     Ferengi.
  14.  
  15.                     QUARK 
  16.             I'm not a bad man, Jake. I don't 
  17.             hurt people. I don't steal from 
  18.             them. I don't even overcharge 
  19.             them much. In a universe filled 
  20.             with pain and suffering I offer 
  21.             people an oasis. 
  22.                 (beat) 
  23.             I offer them love. But does 
  24.             anyone offer love to me? No.
  25.  
  26.                     JAKE 
  27.             Come on. I've seen you with
  28.             women.
  29.  
  30.     Jake pushes the drink toward him. Quark glances at 
  31.     it and sends it back.
  32.  
  33.                     QUARK
  34.             Too much rum, wrong garnish.

  36.     Jake frowns, consults a PADD and then throws out the 
  37.     drink before starting over.

  39.                     QUARK 
  40.             Of course I've been with women. 
  41.             But none of them were Jadzia. 
  42.             She was perfect. She played 
  43.             tongo. She had a sense of humor.

  45.                     JAKE 
  46.             She was tall.
