  10.     DOCTOR Girani -- a Bajoran woman - scans her. From 
  11.     the other room, Bashir and Ezri watch. Bashir is 
  12.     feeling helpless, but he's trying not to lose hope.

  14.                     BASHIR 
  15.                 (to Ezri) 
  16.             Apparently the thalamic pathways
  17.             I generated are still functional, 
  18.             but Doctor Girani's not detecting 
  19.             much neural activity in them.

  21.                     EZRI 
  22.             Do you have any idea what's 
  23.             wrong?

  25.                     BASHIR 
  26.             Not a clue. She's just... 
  27.             slipping away again. And there's 
  28.             nothing I can do except wait, and 
  29.             hope she pulls out of it.
