  6.     The officers turn to face Bashir, revealing the
  7.     admiral for the first time. To Bashir's
  8.     astonishment, it's PATRICK -- one of the genetically
  9.     engineered patients he worked with in "Statistical
  10.     Probabilities." The other two officers are
  11.     revealed to be fellow patients JACK and LAUREN --
  12.     somehow the group managed to get to D.S. Nine by
  13.     posing as Starfleet officers.

  15.                     BASHIR
  16.                 (stunned)
  17.             Patrick... ?
  18.  
  19.     Nog can't believe Bashir is treating the Admiral so 
  20.     familiarly. Jack tries to keep the ruse going.
  21.  
  22.                     JACK
  23.                 (dressing him down)
  24.             That's Admiral Patrick.
  25.  
  26.                     LAUREN
  27.             Mind your manners, doctor.
  28.  
  29.                     BASHIR
  30.             What are you doing here?

  32.                     PATRICK
  33.                 (playing the role)
  34.             That's a stupid question.

  36.                     BASHIR
  37.                 (exasperated)
  38.             Where'd you get these uniforms?

  40.                     PATRICK
  41.             That's a stupid question, too.

  43.     Nog decides to intervene, thinking Bashir is digging 
  44.     himself into a hole.
  45.  
  46.                     NOG
  47.             Please excuse the doctor, sir.
  48.             He just woke up.

  50.                     BASHIR
  51.             Nog, these people are not
  52.             Starfleet officers.

  58.                 (letting him in on

  60.             We're mutants.
