  12.             Go ahead, colonel.

  14.                     KIRA'S COM VOICE
  15.             Captain Solok of the Starship
  16.             T'Kumbra is here to see you.

  18.     Sisko's entire body seems to tense and his jaw 
  19.     clenches automatically. It's an effort to put the 
  20.     PADD down and keep his voice even.

  22.                     SISKO 
  23.             Send him in.
  24.  
  25.     He gets up and braces himself for a beat. CAPTAIN 
  26.     SOLOK ENTERS, carrying a PADD. Solok is Vulcan and 
  27.     looks to be about Sisko's age. For someone skilled 
  28.     in the Vulcan disciplines of emotional suppression 
  29.     and control he manages to convey both superiority 
  30.     and arrogance without saying a word. For his part, 
  31.     the muscles in Sisko's jaw are working overtime even 
  32.     as he forces a smile on his face. They do not shake 
  33.     hands.

  37.             captain.
