  7.     clearly agitated, but not in the way we've seen when 
  8.     he's feeling claustrophobic -- he's angry, 
  9.     frustrated and fed up.

  11.     He grabs his SEAMER and starts to flatten the torn 
  12.     dress on his work table.

  14.                     EZRI 
  15.             I thought you were going to stay 
  16.             in the holosuite for a while.
  17.  
  18.                     GARAK 
  19.             I got tired of looking at a fake 
  20.             landscape and pretending I was 
  21.             outside. Work is the answer. 
  22.             My father always used to say that 
  23.             a person should throw themselves 
  24.             into their work.
  25.                 (sewing frantically) 
  26.             Do your chores, Elim. I told you 
  27.             to do your chores.

  29.                     EZRI
  30.                 (sensing an opening) 
  31.             And if you didn't? What would he 
  32.             do to you?

  34.                     GARAK 
  35.             Oh, no. Don't start. Spare me 
  36.             your insipid psychobabble. I'm 
  37.             not some quivering neurotic who 
  38.             feels sorry for himself because 
  39.             his daddy wasn't nice to him.
  40.                 (a beat; pointed) 
  41.             You couldn't begin to understand 
  42.             me.

  44.     Ezri tries not to be thrown by Garak's sudden attack 
  45.     on her -- she knows patients sometimes direct 
  46.     misplaced anger at their therapists.

  48.                     EZRI 
  49.             I'd like to try.

  51.     Garak tosses his work aside and approaches her, his 
  52.     anger rising.

  54.                     GARAK 
  55.             I'm sure you would. You'd like 
  56.             nothing more than to pry into my 
  57.             personal affairs.
