DEEP SPACE NINE: "Tears of... " - REV. 04/28/98 - ACT TWO 19.
20 CONTINUED:
SISKO
We found their weak point. Now
we need to exploit it.
MARTOK
(to Sisko, re:
Letant)
But this p'tagh would rather sit
home and count his dead.
LETANT
If we invade Cardassia now, all
we'll do is count our dead.
Sisko raises his arms in a conciliatory manner.
SISKO
Gentlemen, please. We're
allies, remember that.
MARTOK
What good is an ally that'll
stab you in the back?
The Senator leans over to speak to another Romulan,
but his voice is loud enough for everyone to hear.
LETANT
(re: Martok)
Notice the primitive rage in his
eye... the uncontrolled
brutality. Klingons can be
quite entertaining, don't you
agree? I think every Romulan
zoo should have a pair.
Martok's anger flares as he reaches for his dagger,
but Sisko's hand grabs his before he can unsheathe
the weapon.
SISKO
Sit down, general. Save your
anger for the Dominion.
Martok glares at Sisko, but Worf stands on the other
side of Martok and rests his hand on his shoulder,
reassuringly. Martok takes a deep breath, regaining
his composure. Glaring across the table at the
Senator, who smiles contemptuously at him, Martok
finally sits back in his chair.
