  4. 23   INT. CAPTAIN'S OFFICE

  6.     SISKO is seated at his desk, as Odo ENTERS and hands 
  7.     him a PADD.
  8.  
  9.                     ODO 
  10.             Here's the report on that 
  11.             smuggling ring you requested. Do 
  12.             you want me to inform the Zevian 
  13.             authorities?
  14.  
  15.                     SISKO
  16.             I'll let you know in a minute.
  17.  
  18.     Sisko takes the PADD and begins reading it. Odo stands 
  19.     there patiently watching as Sisko skims over the 
  20.     report. After a long beat, Odo begins softly HUMMING 
  21.     a tune ("The Way You Wear Your Hat"). The humming 
  22.     quickly escalates into SINGING, though Odo's completely 
  23.     unaware of what he's doing.

  25.                     ODO
  26.                 (singing)
  27.             ... no, no, they can't take that 
  28.             away from me.
  29.  
  30.     Sisko slowly looks up at Odo, who continues singing to 
  31.     himself.
  32.  
  33.                     ODO
  34.             ... the way your smile just 
  35.             beams --
  36.  
  37.     Odo becomes aware that the captain is staring at 
  38.     him -- though he's still unaware he was singing.
  39.  
  40.                     ODO 
  41.             Yes, captain?
  42.  
  43.                     SISKO
  44.             Don't stop on my account.
  45.  
  46.                     ODO 
  47.             Stop what?
  48.  
  49.                     SISKO
  50.             You were singing.
  51.
