  22.             favors, captain. To do what 
  23.             you're asking would use up every 
  24.             resource I have left on Cardassia. 
  25.             And it may be a very messy, very 
  26.             bloody business. Are you prepared 
  27.             for that?

  30.             I posted my fourteenth casualty 
  31.             list this morning. I'm already 
  32.             involved in a very messy, very 
  33.             bloody business. And the only way 
  34.             I can see to end it is to bring 
  35.             the Romulans into the war. I'm 
  36.             prepared to do whatever it takes 
  37.             to accomplish that goal, but I 
  38.             can't do it alone. I need help.

  42.     measure of Sisko and his commitment, then stands and 
  43.     puts out his hand.
