  7.     having a discussion with the head of the security team, 
  8.     Deputy Director SLOAN. Sloan cuts an impressive figure -- 
  9.     he carries himself with the confidence of a man who 
  10.     know what he wants and how to get it.

  12.                     BASHIR
  13.             He doesn't look very happy.

  15.                     ODO 
  16.                 (grim) 
  17.             No. He doesn't.

  19.     As the senior staff watches, Sisko seems to acquiesce 
  20.     to some request of Sloan's. He motions toward the 
  21.     door, and follows Sloan out into Ops. A beat as our 
  22.     people wait to hear what he has to say.
  23.  
  24.                     SISKO 
  25.             All right, people. This is Deputy 
  26.             Director Sloan of Internal 
  27.             Affairs. He's here under the 
  28.             authority of the Federation 
  29.             Council. I expect you to give him 
  30.             your full cooperation.

  32.     Sloan steps forward. As he speaks, his eyes search the 
  33.     faces of the entire senior staff.
  34.  
  35.                     SLOAN 
  36.             Starfleet Intelligence has reason 
  37.             to believe that there's been a 
  38.             security breach aboard Deep Space 
  39.             Nine.
  40.  
  41.     He lets this statement sink in for a beat before 
  42.     continuing.

  44.                     SLOAN 
  45.             It appears that someone has been 
  46.             passing information to the 
  47.             Dominion.
  48.  
  49.     Our people can't believe what they're hearing -- Dax is 
  50.     the first to object to this allegation.
  51.  
  52.                     DAX 
  53.             With all due respect, I think 
  54.             there's been some kind of mistake.

  56.                     SLOAN 
  57.             I hope you're right, commander.
