  4. 59   WORF'S FACE -JUNGLE #25 - DAY

  6.     The heartbeat is DEAFENING. He's slowing down, the 
  7.     swirl of emotions churning inside him is taking over and 
  8.     he keeps struggling not to look behind him... the 
  9.     hacking at the foliage is becoming an end unto itself... 
  10.     finally he STOPS. He stands there for a moment, his 
  11.     heart pounding away in his ears... then makes a decision.
  12.  
  13.     He THROWS the mek'leth at a TREE and the heartbeat 
  14.     STOPS. He turns and heads back the way he came at a run.
  15.  
  16.                                     CUT TO:

  18. 60   EXT. JUNGLE #21 - DAY
  19.  
  20.     Worf comes out of the jungle into the clearing once 
  21.     again. Dax is passed out on the ground, blood from her 
  22.     wound starting to pool next to her. He checks her 
  23.     pulse, is relieved that she's still alive. He slings 
  24.     the medkit over his shoulder.
  25.  
  26.     PULL UP and BACK as Worf lifts his wife in his arms... 
  27.     and carries her off into the jungle toward the distant 
  28.     runabout.
  29.  
  30.                                     CUT TO:

  32. 61   EXT. SPACE - DEEP SPACE NINE (OPTICAL)

  34.     Re-establishing the station.
  35.  
  36. 62   INT. INFIRMARY
  37.  
  38.     Worf is sitting alone at a console in the empty room 
  39.     when SISKO ENTERS.
  40.  
  41.                     SISKO 
  42.             What's the word?
  43.  
  44.                     WORF
  45.             She's still in surgery. But 
  46.             Doctor Bashir is hopeful she'll 
  47.             make a full recovery.
