  7.             Apparently he faked his own death. 
  8.                 (smiles) 
  9.             I'll let him tell you all about 
  10.             it.

  12.     Supremely satisfied, Odo turns and EXITS. Morn looks 
  13.     at Quark, blinks once or twice, then moves to sit on 
  14.     his old stool. A long beat as the two men regard each 
  15.     other...
  16.  
  17.                     QUARK 
  18.             Well?
  19.  
  20.     Just as Morn raises a hand to launch into his story, 
  21.     Quark cuts him off --
  22.  
  23.                     QUARK 
  24.             I don't want to hear it! Not a 
  25.             word.
  26.  
  27.     Morn looks at Quark sheepishly...
  28.  
  29.                     QUARK 
  30.             You set me up. You left the 
  31.             latinum to me because you knew I'd 
  32.             do whatever it would take to get 
  33.  
  34.             my hands on it. You figured I'd 
  35.             keep those four off-balance long 
  36.             enough for them to turn on each 
  37.             other. This whole thing was just 
  38.             a scam to get them off your back.
  39.  
  40.     A beat, then Morn nods apologetically.
  41.  
  42.                     QUARK 
  43.             I could've been killed, you know.
  44.  
  45.     Morn hangs his head...
  46.  
  47.                     QUARK 
  48.             And I thought we were friends.
  49.  
  50.     Morn doesn't know what to say. Quark studies him for 
  51.     a beat, and despite himself, can't help but be 
  52.     impressed by Morn's ingenuity.

  54.                     QUARK 
  55.             I've got to admit, I didn't 
  56.             suspect for a minute. 
  57.
