  9.             superior race, fate handed us our 
  10.             role. It would've been so much 
  11.             easier on everyone if the Bajorans 
  12.             had simply accepted their role. 
  13.             But no... day after day they 
  14.             clustered in their temples and 
  15.             prayed for deliverance, and night 
  16.             after night they planted bombs 
  17.             outside our homes.

  19.             Pride. That's what it was. 
  20.             Stubborn, unyielding pride. From 
  21.             the servant girl that cleaned my 
  22.             quarters to the condemned man 
  23.             toiling in a labor camp to the 
  24.             terrorist skulking through the 
  25.             hills of Dahkur Province, they 
  26.             each wore their pride like some 
  27.             twisted badge of honor.

  32.     And now the pent-up hatred and bile finally comes 
  33.     roaring out of Dukat like someone opened up a flood-
  34.     gate.

  37.             Of course I hated them! Their 
  38.             superstitions and their cries for 
  39.             sympathy, their treachery and 
  40.             their lies, their smug superiority 
  41.             and their stiff-necked obstinacy, 
  42.             their stupid earrings and their 
  43.             broken noses -- Yes I hated them, 
  44.             I hated everything about them!
