  14.     SISKO discreetly observes the busy Promenade from an 
  15.     out-of-the-way corner, drinking in the sights and 
  16.     sounds of this place where he belongs. The station is 
  17.     vibrant, alive, happy. There's a much larger percentage 
  18.     of Starfleet and Klingon uniforms visible than before 
  19.     the war, but the mood is buoyant. The Promenade is now 
  20.     draped with Federation, Klingon and Bajoran banners 
  21.     which will be a fixture from now on and a sign of 
  22.     newfound patriotic sentiment on the station.

  25.             Captain's Personal Log: Stardate 
  26.             51247.5. It's been a week since 
  27.             our return to Deep Space Nine, but 
  28.             the mood of celebration continues. 
  29.             We're still at war and the 
  30.             station's been designated 
  31.             Headquarters for the Ninth Fleet. 
  32.             That, plus our strategic position 
  33.             guarding the wormhole, makes D.S. 
  34.             Nine one of the most tempting 
  35.             targets in the entire quadrant.

  37.     Sisko heads for a Turbolift, but before he gets very 
  38.     far, he's spotted by some Bajorans in the crowd who ask 
  39.     to shake his hand.
