  12.     The Starfleet officers RETURN FIRE and the explosions 
  13.     of SAND and DUST send up CLOUDS that COMPLETELY OBSCURE 
  14.     OUR VIEW --

  16.                                     DISSOLVE TO:

  18. 77   EXT. BOX CANYON - FLOOR -DAY
  19.  
  20.     As the drifting CLOUDS of DUST begin to settle and we 
  21.     see Sisko, Bashir, O'Brien and Neeley walking across 
  22.     the floor of the canyon. The battle is over and all 
  23.     the Jem'Hadar are dead. So is Ensign Gordon, whose 
  24.     dead form has rolled down to the canyon floor during 
  25.     the fight. Bashir is checking Gordon anyway. Nog and 
  26.     Garak are higher up on the ridge with weapons at the 
  27.     ready, just in case.
  28.  
  29.     Sisko walks across the smoking and scorched battlefield 
  30.     and finds the body of Remata'Klan. He kneels down for 
  31.     a moment as O'Brien stands nearby. The silent moment 
  32.     is broken as O'Brien sees something O.S.
  33.  
  34.                     O'BRIEN
  35.             Captain...
  36.  
  37.     He follows his gaze and his expression hardens as he 
  38.     sees...
  39.  
  40. 78   KEEVAN
  41.  
  42.     walking through the canyon. Picking his way through 
  43.     the debris and stepping over the bodies of his former 
  44.     soldiers. Keevan is carrying the communications gear. 
  45.     He pauses over the form of Remata'Klan and looks down 
  46.     at the fallen, his expression unreadable to the humans 
  47.     watching. After a few moments, he turns to Sisko.
  48.  
  49.                     KEEVAN 
  50.             You know, Captain... if I had had 
  51.             just two more vials of White... 
  52.             you never would've had a chance.
  53.  
  54.     Sisko can barely contain the loathing and hatred he 
  55.     feels for this man.
