  8.     EXIT, leaving Sisko very alone and very depressed.

  14.             Go ahead.

  17.             We just received a message from 
  18.             Bajor, Sir. Kai Winn will be 
  19.             coming to the station tomorrow 
  20.             morning and she'd like to meet 
  21.             with you.

  23.     Things just went from bad to worse.

  25.                     SISKO 
  26.             Acknowledged.

  28.     Sisko sits down heavily and rubs a pair of very tired 
  29.     and unhappy eyes.

  39.     A short time later. Nog and Jake are sitting down at 
  40.     the bar. There's a normal-sized crowd at Quark's 
  41.     tonight, but even here the mood is more subdued than 
  42.     usual.

  45.                 (sarcastic) 
  46.             Thanks for the invitation, Jake. 
  47.             That was a lot of fun.

  49.     But Jake is too worried about his father to even 
  50.     respond to the sarcasm.

  53.             Did you see how down my dad was? 
  54.             He was trying to hide it, but I 
  55.             could tell he's really depressed.

  58.             He's not the only one. Look 
  59.             around -- there's something in the 
  60.             air. People are scared.
