  12.     GENERAL MARTOK is sitting on the examining table
  13.     cradling his left arm and shoulder, which are both 
  14.     covered in blood from a nasty-looking wound at the 
  15.     shoulder joint. BASHIR and an N.D. Nurse are tending 
  16.     to the wound with medical instruments. Martok and 
  17.     Bashir have a bond between them that was forged in a 
  18.     Dominion prison camp, and while there is a bite in 
  19.     their words, they also genuinely respect and even like 
  20.     each other.

  23.                     BASHIR
  24.             Another three centimeters to the 
  25.             right and you would've severed the 
  26.             brachial artery.
  27.                 (to Nurse) 
  28.             Auto-suture.
  29.                 (she hands him the 
  30.                 device) 
  31.             And if that had happened, you 
  32.             would've bled to death right there 
  33.             in the holosuite.

  35.                     MARTOK 
  36.             The human fascination with "what 
  37.             might have been" is tiresome, 
  38.             doctor. The artery was not 
  39.             severed and I am not dead.

  42.             Oh. Well. Forgive me for boring 
  43.             you. Let me get right to the 
  44.             point.

  46.     Bashir straightens the damaged arm, causing Martok to 
  47.     wince slightly as he continues to work on it.

  49.                     BASHIR
  50.                 (continuing) 
  51.             You're acting like a fool.

  53.     Martok's temper flares, but he restrains himself.
