  10.             of tartoc and seasoned with 
  11.             Clavisoa berries... and for the 
  12.             main course, stuffed Wentlian 
  13.             condor snake.
  14.  
  15.     Hagath studies the dishes intently, poker-faced.
  16.  
  17.                     QUARK
  18.                 (continuing) 
  19.             All of the Regent's favorite 
  20.             dishes. I obtained the recipes 
  21.             through his palace chefs, in 
  22.             exchange for a small gratuity.
  23.  
  24.     Quark waits for the praise he is certain will be heaped 
  25.     upon him. Hagath, who has scrutinized each item 
  26.     carefully, reaches down, picks up a piece of food, pops 
  27.     it into his mouth. A silent moment as he chews it, 
  28.     then:

  30.                     HAGATH 
  31.             Quark, do you mind if I ask a 
  32.             question?
  33.  
  34.                     QUARK 
  35.             Go ahead.
  36.  
  37.                     HAGATH
  38.                 (mildly) 
  39.             Are you trying to ruin me on 
  40.             purpose, or is this sheer 
  41.             incompetence?
  42.  
  43.                     QUARK
  44.             Ruin you? I don't want to --
  45.  
  46.                     HAGATH 
  47.             Here we are, about to open 
  48.             negotiations with an important new 
  49.             client... and this is the welcome 
  50.             you've prepared for him?
  51.  
  52.                     QUARK
  53.                 (defensive) 
  54.             But they told me he'll like it.

  56.     Hagath picks up another piece of food and holds it 
  57.     close to Quark's face.
  58.  
  59.                     HAGATH
  60.                 (accusatory) 
  61.             This? He's going to like this?
  62.
