  13.     O'Brien is standing on a stepladder and working to 
  14.     install a series of holographic projectors into the 
  15.     ceiling of the Infirmary. To this end, he's opened 
  16.     several panels on the ceiling and walls, and new 
  17.     equipment and devices are strewn about the normally 
  18.     immaculate room. Zimmerman ENTERS from an adjacent 
  19.     room. He is now wearing his customary lab coat and is 
  20.     wheeling in a movable console loaded with scanners, 
  21.     PADDS, and other devices. Bashir is sitting at a desk 
  22.     filling out a questionnaire on a PADD.

  24.                     BASHIR
  25.             This is a long questionnaire...

  27.                     ZIMMERMAN
  28.             I pride myself on my attention to 
  29.             detail.

  32.             "Compare and contrast your eating 
  33.             habits at age five with those at 
  34.             ages ten, fifteen, twenty, and 
  35.             twenty-five?"

  38.             It will be necessary for the holo
  39.             doctor to interact naturally with 
  40.             his patients for weeks, possibly 
  41.             even months. The doctor will be 
  42.             expected to share amusing 
  43.             anecdotes, extend sympathy, swap 
  44.             dirty jokes and even have 
  45.             culinary opinions formed by 
  46.             experience.
