  21.     The Vorta stops in front of the assembled prisoners.

  27.     The prisoners exchange suspicious looks. Garak doesn't 
  28.     like the sound of this, but he knows he doesn't have 
  29.     much choice. He and the rest of the Cardassians, who 
  30.     make up about a third of the prison population, step
  31.     forward.

  34.             I am pleased to announce that the 
  35.             hostilities between our peoples 
  36.             have ended.

  38.     The prisoners look at each other in surprise. But 
  39.     Deyos has a final bomb to drop.

  41.                     DEYOS

  43.             As of today, Cardassia has joined 
  44.             the Dominion. Therefore, you are 
  45.             all being sent home. 
  46.             Congratulations on your new status 
  47.             as Dominion citizens.

  51.     Garak glances back at the others. He looks confused 
  52.     and can't quite believe this is happening.

  54. 22   CLOSE ON BASHIR, WORF, AND MARTOK

  57.     opportunity here and makes eye contact with Garak.
