DEEP SPACE NINE: "In Purgatory's... " - REV. 12/04/96 - ACT ONE 17.
17 CONTINUED: (3)
GARAK
(to Dukat)
You do have a lovely daughter.
She must take after her mother.
And with a final smile for Ziyal, Garak turns his back
and EXITS.
18 CLOSE ON ZIYAL AND DUKAT
As Dukat looks down at his daughter with very mixed
emotions.
ZIYAL
You're wrong about Garak, Father.
He's a good man.
DUKAT
You have no idea how it pains me
to hear you say that.
(a beat)
It's good to see you again, Ziyal.
ZIYAL
It's good to see you, too, Father.
She hugs him.
ZIYAL
But what are you doing on the
station?
DUKAT
I had a skirmish with a Klingon
battle cruiser. My ship was
damaged, so I came here for
repairs... and to spend some time
with you.
(re: Garak)
I can see we have a lot to talk
about.
Ziyal looks resigned to hearing a lecture about Garak.
CUT TO:
