  6.     Bashir is showing Odo the goo, which is still on the 
  7.     scanner. It now has that yellowish tint we're used to 
  8.     seeing in Shape-shifter goo.
  9.  
  10.                     BASHIR
  11.             The purge was nearly a hundred 
  12.             percent effective -- the 
  13.             concentration of isotopes is 
  14.             almost negligible.
  15.  
  16.     Odo is immensely relieved, looks down at the goo as if 
  17.     it were a baby in a crib.
  18.  
  19.                     ODO
  20.             It certainly looks healthier...
  21.  
  22.     Bashir gets ready to leave.
  23.  
  24.                     BASHIR
  25.             I'd better go check on Kira. Did 
  26.             you hear? She's in labor.
  27.  
  28.                     ODO
  29.                 (distracted)
  30.             Mm-mm...
  31.  
  32.     Bashir sees the look on Odo's face, then glances down 
  33.     at what looks to him like a blob of yellow goo...
  34.  
  35.                     BASHIR
  36.                 (smiling)
  37.             I guess you've got your own baby 
  38.             to think about.
  39.  
  40.     Odo catches himself, looks up. As Bashir heads for the 
  41.     door --

  44.                     BASHIR
  45.             There's still a small degree of 
  46.             instability in its morphogenic 
  47.             matrix. I'm hoping it'll level 
  48.             out. I set the computer to 
  49.             monitor for biomimetic 
  50.             fluctuations just in case.
