  10.     Kira, Nog and Dax working at one of the consoles. 
  11.     Brilgar is stationed in the b.g. near one of the doors. 
  12.     The computer screen shows VOICEPRINTS of the three 
  13.     scrambled messages, and as we hear the messages, the 
  14.     voice prints should move correspondingly. At the 
  15.     moment, Nog is listening carefully as Dax replays all 
  16.     three messages.

  18.                     SCRAMBLED VOICE
  19.             That's one. 
  20.                 (beat)
  21.             That's two. 
  22.                 (beat)
  23.             That's three.

  25.                     NOG
  26.             It doesn't sound natural.

  28.                     DAX
  29.             No kidding.

  32.             I mean, I know they're using some 
  33.             kind of scrambler to disguise the 
  34.             voice, but there's something else 
  35.             the rhythms don't sound natural... 
  36.             more like a composite of words 
  37.             from different speeches put 
  38.             together.

  41.             You can tell that through all the 
  42.             distortion?

  44.                     NOG
  45.                 (shrugs)
  46.             It's the lobes. The intonation 
  47.             and phrasing are just slightly 
  48.             off.
  49.
