  9.     With gritted teeth, Odo once again shoves the 
  10.     transmitter a few inches, then drags himself forward. 
  11.     He's clearly not going to stop until he's reached his 
  12.     goal.

  14.                     QUARK
  15.             You'll never make it.
  16.  
  17.                     ODO
  18.             Maybe not.
  19.  
  20.     He shoves it up again, steels himself, takes a deep 
  21.     breath, and forces himself upward.
  22.  
  23.                     QUARK
  24.             You're trying to embarrass me, 
  25.             aren't you? You're trying to 
  26.             shame me into carrying that thing 
  27.             the rest of the way on my own.
  28.  
  29.     Odo doesn't answer; he just keeps going, inching 
  30.     himself and the transmitter painstakingly up the 
  31.     mountain. Quark positions himself so that he doesn't 
  32.     have to watch Odo's struggle.
  33.  
  34.                     QUARK
  35.             It's not going to work. You might 
  36.             as well accept the inevitable and 
  37.             die with dignity. That's what I'm 
  38.             going to do. I'm just going to 
  39.             sit here... and die.
  40.                 (a beat, softly, to
  41.                 himself)
  42.             my brother will get the bar, my
  43.             nephew will be completely
  44.             corrupted by the Federation and
  45.             end up a Starfleet captain, and my
  46.             bones will lie here and freeze...
  47.             unsold and unmourned.

  49.     Quark sits there and lets out a sigh. Now that he's 
  50.     said it out loud, it doesn't sound like much to look 
  51.     forward to. Taking a deep breath, he forces himself up 
  52.     to his feet.

  56.     As Quark walks up to Odo, reaches over, grabs the 
  57.     transmitter and puts it on his back.
