  4. 44   EXT. SHALLOW CAVE - DAY
  5.  
  6.     This isn't our usual deep cavern. It's just a hole in 
  7.     the side of the mountain with sunlight streaming in 
  8.     from a small opening.
  9.  
  10.     Odo and Quark are sleeping in the cave, using their 
  11.     survival clothing as crude blankets. Odo wakes with 
  12.     the light. He's sore, stiff and cold, and not at all
  13.     happy to be awake. He leans over and begins shaking 
  14.     Quark.
  15.  
  16.                     ODO
  17.             Quark, wake up.
  18.  
  19.     Quark doesn't budge. Odo shakes him a little more.
  20.  
  21.                     ODO
  22.             Come on, Quark. We've got a 
  23.             mountain to climb.
  24.  
  25.     But Quark still doesn't respond.
  26.  
  27.                     ODO
  28.             Quark.
  29.  
  30.     Suddenly Odo starts to get nervous. He gets up and 
  31.     gives Quark a vigorous shake.
  32.  
  33.                     ODO
  34.             Quark!
  35.  
  36.     There's still no response. Odo checks Quark's pulse. 
  37.     It's barely there. He starts slapping Quark across the 
  38.     face. But Quark still isn't coming around. His 
  39.     slapping becomes more and more frantic.
  40.  
  41.                     ODO
  42.                 (urgent)
  43.             Wake up.
  44.  
  45.     Quark is startled awake and starts flailing away at Odo.
  46.  
  47.                     QUARK
  48.             Stop hitting me.
  49.  
  50.                     ODO
  51.             I thought you were dead.
  52.  
  53.     Quark sits up and rubs his cheek.
  54.  
  55.  
  56.                     QUARK 
  57.             And you saw that as an opportunity
  58.             to vent years of hostility towards 
  59.             me.
