  7.     He knocks the pistol out of his hand and whirls, ready 
  8.     to take on the rest of them.

  10.                     ODO
  11.             No! I won't let this happen! Not 
  12.             again!
  13.                 (to Thrax)
  14.             You can't execute them, you don't 
  15.             even belong here! I do.
  16.  
  17. 68   NEW ANGLE
  18.  
  19.     Suddenly, things have changed. Thrax is gone, Dukat is 
  20.     gone, and the Cardassian Soldiers are gone. Only Odo,
  21.     Sisko, Dax and Garak remain on the Crossover Bridge, 
  22.     and they're all wearing their normal clothing. 
  23.     Everyone reacts to the change, but before they can 
  24.     adjust, there's suddenly the SOUND of a disruptor being 
  25.     fired.
  26.  
  27. 69   ANGLE - ANOTHER CROSSOVER BRIDGE (OPTICAL)
  28.  
  29.     Down the Promenade from our heroes, another scene is 
  30.     taking place. We can see Dukat, the Cardassian 
  31.     Soldiers and Odo -- who's now wearing Thrax's uniform. 
  32.     The Soldier has just shot Timor Landi in the chest and 
  33.     the man's body is slumped on the ground. The Soldier, 
  34.     calmly and without hesitation, SHOOTS Ishan Chaye and 
  35.     then Jillur Gueta.
  36.  
  37.     The other Odo seems detached, cold, a man watching a 
  38.     distasteful execution for which he feels no 
  39.     responsibility. When it's over, Dukat and the 
  40.     Cardassians walk away... and then FADE AWAY. The other 
  41.     Odo looks down at the bodies for a moment, then walks 
  42.     off and FADES AWAY, leaving only the dead Bajorans on 
  43.     the bridge.

  51.     On our Crossover Bridge, Sisko and the others have 
  52.     watched this mute scene play itself out with 
  53.     puzzlement. Odo has watched with defeat.

  58.                     ODO
  59.             That's exactly how it happened 
  60.             seven years ago.
