  11.     A skeleton crew of SUPERNUMERARIES man the key systems. 
  12.     It is strangely quiet. Down in the pit, O'Brien 
  13.     crouches in front of an open panel, tools strewn about. 
  14.     He pauses to wipe the stinging sweat from his eyes. 
  15.     Blinks several times to clear his vision, then turns to 
  16.     reach for another tool and notices A PAIR OF FEET 
  17.     standing next to his tool box. TILT UP TO REVEAL Dax 
  18.     grimly staring down at him.
  19.  
  20.                     O'BRIEN 
  21.             Commander, what are you doing up 
  22.             at this hour?
  23.  
  24.                     DAX
  25.             I want you to look at something.
  26.  
  27.     Dax leads him to a computer terminal, talking as she 
  28.     walks. Behind her, O'Brien tries to hide his anguished 
  29.     expression.

  31.                     DAX 
  32.             I couldn't sleep so I got up and 
  33.             decided to scan the wormhole for 
  34.             radiometric anomalies.

  37.             At three in the morning?

  40.             I find anomalies very relaxing. 
  41.             I was using the wideband filter 
  42.             protocols and when I ran the 
  43.             primary calibration check I found

  46.     She manipulates her terminal. O'Brien peers over her 
  47.     shoulder.

  51.             They're slightly off spec.

  55.             fused matrix inverter, until I ran 
  56.             a level three diagnostic.
