  6.     as Jake and Kirby rush between the beds with an empty 
  7.     stretcher, heading back toward triage. Jake has gotten 
  8.     a little better at this, doesn't have to work so hard 
  9.     to keep up.
  10.  
  11.     By now, his SCRUBS have gotten BLOODIED from all the 
  12.     patients he's handled.
  13.  
  14.                                     DISSOLVE TO:
  15.  
  16. 19   INT. CAVERN - INTENSIVE CARE
  17.  
  18.     A small alcove with three or four beds and lots of 
  19.     medical equipment. Jake and Kirby move a patient off 
  20.     their stretcher and onto a bed.
  21.  
  22. 19A  INT. CAVERN - A TUNNEL
  23.  
  24.     as Jake and Kirby hurry down it, a patient on the 
  25.     stretcher between them.
  26.  
  27.                                     CUT TO:
  28.  
  29. 20   INT. CAVERN - TRIAGE AREA
  30.  
  31.     as Jake and Kirby RUSH IN with an empty stretcher, 
  32.     ready to pick up another patient...
  33.  
  34.     They stop in their tracks when they realize there are 
  35.     no more patients... they've all been taken where they 
  36.     belong.
  37.  
  38.     Bashir, the Bolian and the Nurse are sitting on the 
  39.     ground, their backs against the wall, exhausted.
  40.  
  41.     This is a team that's been working together under tough 
  42.     conditions for a long time, and they've developed a 
  43.     kind of gallows humor.
  44.  
  45.                     NURSE
  46.             Party's over...

  48.                     KIRBY
