  12.     Once the strap is off Muniz, he slumps to one side... 
  13.     O'Brien stops himself as a dreadful realization comes 
  14.     over him. Muniz is dead. O'Brien tries to swallow 
  15.     back the shock, but a pained GASP escapes his throat. 
  16.     After a long moment...

  18. 81   ON SISKO AND DAX
  19.  
  20.     as they look over to see O'Brien slumping near Muniz 
  21.     and realize what's happened. Dax takes a step toward 
  22.     O'Brien, but Sisko holds her back.
  23.  
  24.     Worf sees what's occurred and silently looks on.

  26. 82   CLOSE ON O'BRIEN

  28.     His face says it all.

  34.     Later. Sisko is alone with his thoughts. Muniz's body
  35.     is gone. Dax ENTERS. ANOTHER EXPLOSION.

  38.             I promised Muniz that he was going 
  39.             to make it.

  41.                     DAX
  42.             That's what a captain's supposed 
  43.             to say.

  45.     Dax, tired and at the end of her rope, sits next to 
  46.     Sisko. ANOTHER EXPLOSION.
