  6.                     FEMALE SHAPE-SHIFTER
  7.             Pretty? I wasn't aware you 
  8.             applied such value to your outward 
  9.             appearance. Such concerns are 
  10.             more fitting of Solids.
  11.  
  12.                     BASHIR 
  13.             Excuse me. I don't mean to 
  14.             interrupt. But is there anything 
  15.             you can do for him?
  16.  
  17.     The Female Shape-shifter ignores Bashir. He's a Solid 
  18.     and barely even worth her notice.
  19.  
  20.                     FEMALE SHAPE-SHIFTER
  21.             Give me your hand, Odo.
  22.  
  23.     Odo stares at her for a second. He knows what she has 
  24.     in mind and isn't eager to go along with it. The 
  25.     Female Shape-shifter sees his hesitation.
  26.  
  27.  
  28.                     FEMALE SHAPE-SHIFTER
  29.             Don't be afraid.
  30.  
  31.     Odo knows he's in no position to argue. He reaches 
  32.     over and takes her hand.
  33.  
  34. 43   NEW ANGLE (OPTICAL)
  35.  
  36.     As they touch, both Odo and the Female Shape-shifter's 
  37.     hands MORPH to goo. This is a scaled down version of 
  38.     the Link (as previously seen in "THE SEARCH, PART 
  39.     TWO").
  40.  
  41.     Then suddenly, Odo is overcome by a ripple of pain 
  42.     similar to what he experienced during the final battle 
  43.     in "THE ADVERSARY." He shudders and goes completely to 
  44.     goo, becoming an amorphous blob on the bed. The Female 
  45.     Shape-shifter concentrates intently. After a long beat, 
  46.     Odo begins to resolidify, starting with the hand that 
  47.     is touching the Female Shape-shifter. The solidity 
  48.     spreads across his body until he's humanoid again.
  49.  
  50.                     GARAK
  51.             Amazing.
  52.  
  53.     When Odo resolidifies completely, he looks visibly 
  54.     better, less weak and with a reduction in the number of 
  55.     spots of slime on his body.
  56.  
  57.                     FEMALE SHAPE-SHIFTER
  58.             There. Feeling better?
