  9.     Odo's lying on a bed, covered by a sheet. The bed's 
  10.     been modified to include a curved lip which will hold 
  11.     him if he reverts to liquid.
  12.  
  13.     Bashir ENTERS to check on his patient. He's been 
  14.     running more tests and the results haven't been 
  15.     encouraging.

  17.                     BASHIR
  18.             How are you feeling?
  19.  
  20.                     ODO
  21.             See for yourself.

  23.     With an effort, Odo pushes aside the sheet.
  24.  
  25. 21   CLOSE ON ODO (OPTICAL)

  27.     Odo's body is only partially formed. In some places it 
  28.     looks relatively normal, in others it's an ill-formed 
  29.     mass of goo. As we watch, part of the goo solidifies 
  30.     and part of the solid mass turns to goo.

  32.     Even the solid parts of Odo's body, including his face,
  33.     are damp with a slick of goo.

  35.                     BASHIR
  36.             It's gotten worse.

  40.     As Odo slumps back down and covers himself with the 
  41.     sheet.

  44.             Very observant, Doctor.

  46.     Odo didn't mean to bite Bashir's head off. He eases 
  47.     up.

  50.             It's becoming more and more
  51.             difficult for me to maintain
  52.             humanoid form.

  54.     This is a hard admission for Odo to make and when he 
  55.     speaks there is more than a trace of anxiety in his 
  56.     voice.
