  10.     discuss what to do with Kira.

  14.             The Jem'Hadar are leaving the 
  15.             Kendi system... looks like they're 
  16.             heading for the Obatta cluster.
  17.  
  18.                     DAX
  19.             Sounds like they're on a patrol 
  20.             route -- which means this system 
  21.             is probably next.
  22.  
  23.                     KIRA
  24.             We'd better go.
  25.                 (working console)
  26.             Stand by to get underway.
  27.  
  28.                     BASHIR 
  29.             Hold on, Major... we can't just 
  30.             leave these people. They need our 
  31.             help.

  33.                     KIRA
  34.             And they'll get it. As soon as we 
  35.             get back we'll notify Starfleet so 
  36.             they can put together a relief 
  37.             mission.

  39.                     BASHIR 
  40.             That could take weeks, maybe even 
  41.             months. We're here now.

  43.     Bashir can see Kira considering what he's saying, 
  44.     presses his case.

  46.                     BASHIR
  47.             Do you remember the plague on 
  48.             Boranis Three? People were dying 
  49.             by the thousands and no one there 
  50.             knew why. It took us an hour to 
  51.             identify the pathogen, and three 
  52.             days to dose the watertable and 
  53.             inoculate the entire population.

  57.             We might be able to do the same
