  14.                 (off console)
  15.             Incoming message for you, Captain.
  16.                 (reacts in surprise)
  17.             It's Commander Eddington.
  18.  
  19.     Everyone reacts in surprise.
  20.  
  21.                     SISKO
  22.             Put it through to my office.
  23.  
  24.     O'Brien works and Sisko EXITS to his office.

  26. 46   INT. CAPTAIN'S OFFICE - CONTINUOUS (OPTICAL)

  30.     Sisko ENTERS and moves to the wall monitor. He 
  31.     ACTIVATES it and Eddington appears on the screen,
  32.     evidently in a small room on the Vulcan ship. 
  33.     Eddington looks at Sisko with defiance. He's a 
  34.     slightly different man than the one we're used to 
  35.     seeing -- Eddington is a man with a cause he believes 
  36.     in and he's not afraid of Sisko. For his part, Sisko 
  37.     looks at Eddington with a profound sense of personal 
  38.     betrayal and it stirs a deep anger within him.

  40.                     EDDINGTON
  41.             Captain.

  44.             I just have one question Mister 
  45.             Eddington: why?
  46.  
  47.                     EDDINGTON
  48.             Will knowing my personal 
  49.             motivation change anything at this 
  50.             point?
