  14.             coordinates to the helm. Lay in 
  15.             the course and engage at three-
  16.             quarter impulse.

  18.                     O'BRIEN
  19.             Aye, sir.
  20.  
  21.     O'Brien and Eddington work their respective consoles 
  22.     as Worf moves to the Helm and watches the screen for any 
  23.     sign of the Xhosa. O'Brien smiles ruefully.

  26.             Say what you will about the Maquis, 
  27.             they're not stupid. Using the 
  28.             Badlands as their base of 
  29.             operations is a smart move.
  30.                 (the ship SHAKES)
  31.             Not to mention gutsy.

  35.             They are terrorists -- little more 
  36.             than criminals. And criminals 
  37.             always make mistakes.

  40.             They're just fighting for 
  41.             something they believe in.

  45.             They should be hunted down and 
  46.             destroyed.

  49.             For what? Defending their homes? 
  50.             Think about what's happened to 
  51.             these people. One day, they're 
  52.             trying to eke out a living on some 
  53.             godforsaken colonies along the 
  54.             Cardassian border. And the next 
  55.             day, the Federation makes a treaty
  56.             handing those colonies over to the 
  57.             Cardassians. What would you do?
