  9.     his way toward the replicator... bumping into a chair 
  10.     on the way. He orders...

  12.                     JAKE
  13.             Orange juice.
  14.  
  15.     We HEAR the sound of the replicator, and Jake pulls a 
  16.     MUG from the slot. He takes it, looks around for a 
  17.     chair. As he heads for a table he's hit by a blinding 
  18.     headache that sends him staggering. He passes out, 
  19.     falls to the ground. As the other patrons stand to 
  20.     help him...

  22. 41   INT. INFIRMARY

  24.     Jake is unconscious on the bio-bed, a NEURAL STABILIZER 
  25.     on his forehead, its BLINKIES active. A NURSE is 
  26.     scanning him with an INSTRUMENT.
  27.  
  28.     Bashir is explaining what he's found to Sisko, who's 
  29.     just returned from Bajor. He's wearing DIFFERENT 
  30.     CIVILIAN CLOTHES than those he left in.
  31.  
  32.                     BASHIR
  33.             Something has stimulated Jake's 
  34.             brain functioning in a way I've 
  35.             never seen. The capillaries in 
  36.             his cerebral cortex have dilated 
  37.             twenty percent, neurotransmitter 
  38.             production is up by at least that 
  39.             amount, and neural activity is off 
  40.             the scale.
