  15.     O'Brien at the helm, Worf in command, Kira at the side
  16.     station. The ship is at Red Alert and it is ROCKED.
  17.     O'Brien turns and speaks to the camera.

  19.                     O'BRIEN
  20.             There were two Klingon ships -- a
  21.             bird of prey and an old
  22.             battle cruiser. One would engage
  23.             us while the other went after the
  24.             convoy, then they would switch
  25.             the first ship going after the
  26.             Cardassians, the second coming
  27.             after us.

  29. 48   INCLUDE VIEWSCREEN (OPTICAL)

  31.     An old-style KLINGON BATTLE CRUISER is coming directly
  32.     at the Defiant. It FIRES and HITS us, causing a
  33.     console to EXPLODE in the b.g.

  35.                     KIRA
  36.                 (off console)
  37.             We've lost the number three
  38.             starboard shield.

  40.                     WORF
  41.                 (to O'Brien)
  42.             Come about, the cruiser's taking
  43.             us too far from the convoy. Try
  44.             to keep our portside to the
  45.             Klingons.

  47.                     O'BRIEN
  48.             Aye, sir.

  50.             It went on like that for... I
  51.             don't know, another five minutes
  52.             maybe. They'd come at us, try to
  53.             draw us away from the Cardassians,
  54.             we'd head back... until finally
  55.             the bird of prey came toward us
  56.             off the port bow.
