DEEP SPACE NINE: "The Bar... " - 11 - 1/08/96 - ACT THREE 28.
ACT THREE
FADE IN:
21 INT. PROMENADE - OUTSIDE QUARK'S
Leeta, Grimp, Frool and the other striking employees
have lined up and formed a human chain two rows deep in
front of Quark's. Rom is in front of the line. He
greets each would be patron as they come to the door,
then hands them a slip of latinum, and bribes them to
leave.
ROM
(to passersby)
Thank you for not patronizing
Quark's. Thank you for not
patronizing Quark's. Thank you
for not patronizing Quark's.
Most of the patrons walk away.
LEETA
(to Grimp)
I hope Rom's voice holds out.
GRIMP
I hope our latinum holds out.
And as Rom continues to bribe away Quark's patrons...
CUT TO:
22 INT. QUARK'S (OPTICAL)
Quark's is virtually deserted. There are no Bajorans
or humans on the premises, only Morn, a Bolian, and a
couple of Pakleds. Odo comes down the stairs and
approaches Quark, who's carrying a tray.
ODO
You wanted to see me.
Quark turns and looks at Odo with a friendly smile.
QUARK
May I take you're order, sir?
ODO
Quark, I'm in no mood for games.
QUARK
There seems to be an opening at
the dabo table.
