  7.     speaks to someone lying on the surgical bed.

  14.     to reveal Kurn lying on the bed. His features have
  15.     been altered -- the boney crest on his forehead is now
  16.     a different shape. He begins to wake up. Worf, Dax
  17.     and Bashir look on a short distance away.

  19.                     KURN
  20.             Where... where am I?
  21.  
  22.                     NOGGRA
  23.             On a Federation space station.
  24.             Our shuttle was damaged... you
  25.             were hit by a plasma discharge.
  26.  
  27.     Kurn sits up, tries to remember.
  28.  
  29.                     KURN
  30.             I... I don't remember being in a
  31.             shuttle... in fact, I don't
  32.             remember anything.

  34.                     BASHIR
  35.             The plasma discharge damaged your
  36.             hippocampus... you're suffering
  37.             from a severe form of amnesia.
  38.             I'm afraid you may never regain
  39.             all your memory.

  46.             son. You are part of the House of
