  10.     crewmen are on the Bridge; the Bird of Prey looms on
  11.     the viewscreen.

  13.                     DAMAR
  14.             They're scanning us, sir.

  17.             Full power to forward shields.
  18.  
  19.                     KIRA
  20.             At this distance -- your shields
  21.             won't mean much.

  23.     There's a long beat of tension before something on
  24.     Damar's panel puzzles him.

  26.                     DAMAR
  27.             Sir... they've stopped their scan.

  29.                     DUKAT
  30.             What are they doing?

  32.     Damar is completely surprised by what he reads on his
  33.     screen.

  36.             Nothing, sir. They don't seem in
  37.             a hurry to do anything about us.

  44.             Then why were they cloaked when we
  45.             arrived?

  48.             They detected an incoming vessel,
  49.             they didn't know what it was, so
  50.             they hid... now they know. And
  51.             they're unconcerned.
