  13.             always been a little uneasy about
  14.             a changeling working in their
  15.             midst. I just wanted to say... I
  16.             appreciate the trust you've shown
  17.             in me.
  18.                 (holds out his hand)
  19.             Thank you.

  21.     Leyton pretends not to notice Odo's hand, which is
  22.     extended for a handshake.

  24.                     LEYTON
  25.             You're welcome.

  27.     Leyton tries to turn away again, but to Leyton and
  28.     Benteen's surprise, Odo reaches out and grabs Leyton's
  29.     hand.

  31. 36   NEW ANGLE (OPTICAL)

  33.     For a moment both men stare at each other, eyes
  34.     widening in intensity. Then Odo's hand MORPHS into
  35.     goo, as does Leyton's.
  36.  
  37.                     LEYTON
  38.                 (slightly mocking)
  39.             Well done, Odo.
  40.  
  41.     Leyton concentrates and a wave of Shape-shifter goo
  42.     pulses down Leyton's arm and washes up Odo, distorting
  43.     Odo's body and knocking him to the ground.
  44.  
  45.     Leyton MORPHS into a seagull and flies away.
  46.  
  47. 37   CLOSE ON ODO AND BENTEEN

  49.     As she goes to see if he's all right.

  52.                 (struggling to his feet)
