  7. 29   INT. SISKO'S TEMPORARY OFFICE - DAY (OPTICAL)

  9.     Sisko and Benteen stand in the doorway of Sisko's
  10.     temporary office at Starfleet Headquarters. There's a
  11.     Starfleet Science Officer standing behind them.
  12.  
  13.                         SISKO
  14.             Activate the phaser.
  15.  
  16.     Behind Sisko, the Science Officer taps a command into
  17.     a PADD and a phaser unit, newly installed in the
  18.     ceiling, sweeps the room with a wide beam of phaser
  19.     fire, covering the whole room. As it passes over a
  20.     plant which suddenly MORPHS into Odo, who grunts in
  21.     pain and shifts his body as if he's just gotten a bad
  22.     shock.

  24.                         SISKO
  25.             That's enough.
  26.  
  27.     The Science Officer deactivates the phaser.
  28.  
  29. 30   NEW ANGLE
  30.  
  31.     As the phaser fire stops and Odo gets to his feet.

  33.                         SISKO
  34.             How do you feel?
  35.  
  36.                     ODO
  37.             That time I definitely experienced
  38.             discomfort.

  40.                     SISKO
  41.             What was the setting?

  43.                     BENTEEN
  44.             Three point one. If we set the
  45.             phasers at three point four, we
  46.             should be able to stun any
  47.             Changeling we hit and force them
  48.             back into a gelatinous state.

  50.                     ODO
  51.             I would make it three point five
  52.             just to be on the safe side. But
  53.             if you want to do more testing,
  54.             you'll have to find another guinea
  55.             pig. I've been shot quite enough
  56.             for one day.
