  16. 49   INT. SITTING ROOM/CONTROL ROOM - DAY

  18.     Garak and Bashir kick open the huge double doors.
  19.     Bashir has the room covered. Sisko is standing near
  20.     the control table, holding Dax's face in his hands as
  21.     if held just been admiring her new look (hair down, no
  22.     glasses). O'Brien is near them both. Kira is sitting
  23.     in a chair, her wrists handcuffed together.
  24.  
  25.                     BASHIR
  26.             Everyone stay right where you are.
  27.             Drop your weapons.
  28.  
  29.     O'Brien pulls his gun out of his shoulder holster,
  30.     drops it to the floor. Sisko does the same and Garak
  31.     quickly picks up one of the guns. Kira and Dax react
  32.     with relief.
  33.  
  34.                     DAX AND KIRA
  35.                 (overlapping)
  36.             Julian!

  38.     They look at each other. Sisko glares at Dax.

  40.                     SISKO
  41.                 (to Dax)
  42.             This is your doing. You let them
  43.             go.

  45.                     DAX
  46.             I'm sorry, Doctor.

  48.     She moves to Bashir. Kira gets up. While Garak keeps
  49.     his gun trained on the room, Bashir moves to Kira and
  50.     uses the handcuff key to unlock her restraints.

  52.                     KIRA
  53.             You are just in time. He was
  54.             about to activate the final
  55.             sequence of lasers.
  56.                 (to Bashir)
  57.             Kill him, Julian.

  59.                     BASHIR
  60.             No. Not this time, Ana.
