  7.             Forgive me. Sometimes I get ahead
  8.             of myself. Allow me to explain.
  9.  
  10. 39   NEW ANGLE 
  11.  
  12.     As Sisko hits a hidden button on the sideboard. The
  13.     sitting room suddenly TRANSFORMS into Doctor Noah's
  14.     CONTROL CENTER. The sideboard TURNS AROUND, revealing
  15.     a complex CONTROL PANEL, and the entire the wall SLIDES
  16.     ASIDE revealing a HUGE MAP OF THE WORLD. And there,
  17.     standing in front of the wall, working on her
  18.     clipboard, is Dax. She's wearing her lab coat, hair in
  19.     a bun, glasses, as seen in the photograph. Garak, Kira
  20.     and Bashir all trade glances -- there she is. Dax is
  21.     very conservative, scientific.
  22.  
  23.                     DAX
  24.                 (to Sisko)
  25.             We're almost ready. I'm making
  26.             some last-minute adjustments to a
  27.             South American Site.
  28.  
  29.     Sisko moves to Dax, takes her hand.
  30.  
  31.                     SISKO
  32.             I have every confidence in you, my dear.
  33.  
  34.     Dax looks down, clearly embarrassed and flattered by
  35.     Sisko's attention.

  37.                     KIRA
  38.                 (sotto to Bashir)
  39.             She's working with him...
  40.  
  41.     Dax looks up at that moment and Bashir catches her eye -- 
  42.     for a fleeting instant we can see that she has more
  43.     than a casual interest in "Mr. Merriweather," then she
  44.     looks away. But Bashir saw that look, and throughout
  45.     the scene, he takes whatever opportunity presents
  46.     itself to make eye contact with her again -- and when
  47.     he does, we see that she is trying to hide her
  48.     attraction to him.

  50.     Sisko turns back to the group in the sitting room.
