  17.                     BASHIR
  18.             I completely understand.

  20.     Sisko moves to a sideboard where there are snifters,
  21.     brandy and cigars. The waiter pours him a snifter of
  22.     brandy.
  23.  
  24.                     SISKO
  25.             May I offer you brandy... cigars?
  26.  
  27.     Garak and Bashir shake their head no, but Kira steps
  28.     forward.
  29.  
  30.                     KIRA
  31.             Cigar.

  33.                     SISKO
  34.             An unusual request for a woman.

  40.     Sisko considers her and then smiles and offers her a
  41.     cigar from the humidor. He clips the end and lights it
  42.     for her during the following dialog:

  47.             geology, Mister Merriweather.

  49.                     BASHIR
  50.             That's right.

  53.             Then I'm sure you'll appreciate
  54.             the stones in my most recent
  55.             acquisition.

  57.     Sisko gestures to an elaborate sculpture sitting in the
  58.     room, which has various GEMSTONES in it. Sisko eyes
  59.     him, waiting for an answer -- this is almost a
  60.     challenge.
