  10.             Is she your valet or your personal

  13.     Bashir begins mixing himself a drink at the bar.

  15.                     BASHIR
  16.             Valet. And Mona's very capable.
  17.             Speaks seven languages, has
  18.             degrees in chemistry, physics, and
  19.             biology, can fly anything from
  20.             jets to helicopters... and she
  21.             makes an excellent martini.

  23.     Garak takes a seat, makes himself at home.  Luvsitt
  24.     EXITS into another room.

  26.                     GARAK
  27.             I take it that your character is
  28.             some kind of... rich dilettante,
  29.             with a fascination for women and
  30.             weapons.

  32.                     BASHIR
  33.             Actually, my character is far more
  34.             disreputable.

  36.                 I'm a spy.

  38.     Garak looks around the room, at the still-open arsenal,
  39.     and at Bashir, with some shock.

  41.                     GARAK
  42.             A spy? And you live here?
  43.  
  44.                     BASHIR
  45.             Yes. I work for one of the nation-
  46.             states of this era -- Great
  47.             Britain -- which is battling
  48.             various other nations in what was
  49.             called the Cold War. This
  50.             apartment, my clothes, weapons,
  51.             even my valet were all provided to
  52.             me by the government.
