  7.             A Vulcan geological survey team 
  8.             was mining bakrinium on an 
  9.             uncharted planet when they 
  10.             accidentally unearthed some 
  11.             ancient ruins. They brought back 
  12.             several artifacts to study, 
  13.             including the cloth.
  14.  
  15.                     WORF
  16.             Kor was the Klingon ambassador to 
  17.             Vulcan.
  18.  
  19.                     DAX
  20.             When he saw the cloth, Kor 
  21.             recognized the markings and got 
  22.             them to give it to him as a gift. 
  23.             They didn't realize it, but the 
  24.             markings were Hur'q.
  25.  
  26.                     SISKO
  27.             Hur'q... that's the Klingon word 
  28.             for "outsiders," isn't it?
  29.  
  30.                     WORF
  31.             The Hur'q invaded our homeworld 
  32.             over a thousand years ago. What 
  33.             they could not pillage, they 
  34.             destroyed. They took the Sword 
  35.             and my people have been looking 
  36.             for it ever since. It is said 
  37.             that the recovery of the Sword 
  38.             will bring a new era of glory to 
  39.             the Klingon Empire. With the 
  40.             Sword, the Emperor will be able to 
  41.             unite our people again.

  43.                     SISKO
  44.                 (thinking about it) 
  45.             And if two Starfleet officers were 
  46.             involved in recovering the
  47.             Sword... that might go a long way 
  48.             toward patching things up between 
  49.             us and the Klingons.

  52.             That is my hope as well, Captain.
