  22. 55   EXT. ATMOSPHERE (OPTICAL)

  24.     as the Defiant changes course, banking down. The first 
  25.     torpedo shoots toward it... a tense beat as it looks 
  26.     like it's going to hit... but then it misses by a 
  27.     hair's breadth and shoots past.

  29. 56   INT. DEFIANT - ENGINE ROOM

  31.     We hear the SOUND of the second torpedo coming 
  32.     closer...
  33.  
  34.                     STEVENS 
  35.             The second one's still closing...
  36.             range, one hundred meters... 
  37.             seventy-five... fifty...
  38.  
  39.     A beat, then a LOUD metallic thunk that jolts the ship. 
  40.     Everyone tenses up, waiting for the explosion... but 
  41.     nothing happens...

  45. 57   INT. DEFIANT - MESS HALL

  47.     on Quark and Hanok, both staring numbly at something 
  48.     off-screen.
  49.  
  50. 58   NEW ANGLE

  52.     to reveal the nose-cone of a Jem'Hadar TORPEDO 
  53.     sticking through the back wall. Nitrogen streams in 
  54.     from around the perimeter of mangled metal into which 
  55.     the torpedo is jammed.

  57.     Off Quark and Hanok's stunned features we...
  58.
