  13.     Another SHUDDER...

  16.             Holding position at ten 
  17.             kilometers.

  20.             Major...

  22.     She works the scanner... we HEAR the pulse, and the 
  23.     icon kicks out a sphere... when it illuminates a 
  24.     blip...
  25.  
  26.                     KIRA 
  27.             From the size of it, I'd say it's 
  28.             the Karemma...
  29.  
  30.     Just as the sphere is about to reach the edge of the 
  31.     monitor, it illuminates TWO MORE BLIPS near the top of 
  32.     the screen.

  35.                 (urgent) 
  36.             I'm picking up two more ships.
  37.  
  38.     Suddenly the Defiant is ROCKED by phaser fire...

  40. 19   EXT. ATMOSPHERE (OPTICAL)

  42.     as the two JEM'HADAR ships drop from above and head 
  43.     toward the Defiant... they open fire...
  44.  
  45. 20   INT. DEFIANT - BRIDGE
  46.  
  47.     as the ship is ROCKED VIOLENTLY by the blasts. 
  48.     Consoles explode... warning KLAXONS sound...
  49.  
  50.                     WORF
  51.             Shields at sixty percent.
  52.  
  53.                     SISKO
  54.             Return fire.
  55.  
  56.     We hear the SOUND of phasers firing, then take another 
  57.     blast ourselves, which ROCKS the ship hard. The LIGHTS 
  58.     flicker out and are replaced by EMERGENCY LIGHTS.
