  26.             Tensions with the Klingons were 
  27.             continuing to rise...

  29. 22   INT. PROMENADE (PRESENT)

  31.     Jake is moving against the flow of a crowd of civilians 
  32.     who are headed to the docking ring with their 
  33.     belongings.
  34.  
  35.                     OLD JAKE (V.O.) 
  36.             My father was a kind of religious 
  37.             figure to the Bajoran people, and 
  38.             when he died, they took it as a 
  39.             sign from the Prophets that the 
  40.             Federation wouldn't be able to 
  41.             protect them from the Klingons. 
  42.             Eventually, Bajor entered into a 
  43.             mutual defense pact with the 
  44.             Cardassians, and the Klingons 
  45.             didn't like that at all.

  47.     He passes near Odo, who is busy trying to control the 
  48.     flow of people.

  51.             There are plenty of seats on the 
  52.             transport, and there's another one 
  53.             leaving in just two hours. That's 
  54.             it, move along... thank you.

  56.     Jake continues past the flow of people until he reaches 
  57.     the area in front of the Replimat and starts up the 
  58.     spiral staircase that leads to the upper level.
