  6.     That satisfies Goran'Agar, who then signals to 
  7.     Arak'Taral, and heads for the door. Arak'Taral turns 
  8.     to go, then his eye falls on the device O'Brien was 
  9.     working on. He pauses, glances up at O'Brien, who 
  10.     keeps a poker face.
  11.  
  12.                      ARAK'TARAL 
  13.                 (re: device) 
  14.             What is this?
  15.  
  16.                     O'BRIEN 
  17.             That? It's something I put 
  18.             together to enhance the resolution 
  19.             on that scanner.

  21. 20   NEW ANGLE (OPTICAL)

  23.     Arak'Taral takes a long look at the device. Bashir 
  24.     tenses ... O'Brien braces himself... Goran'Agar pauses 
  25.     on the threshold of the door. Arak'Taral flips the 
  26.     switch.
  27.  
  28.     -- The device DISCHARGES a BURST of PLASMA ENERGY which 
  29.     HITS Meso'Clan in the leg, dropping him to the floor, 
  30.     but not killing him.
  31.  
  32.     O'BRIEN tries to lunge at Arak'Taral, but the 
  33.     Jem'Hadar is too quick for him.
  34.  
  35.     -- Arak'Taral's hand shoots out and he grabs O'Brien by 
  36.     the throat and yanks him off the ground, slamming him 
  37.     into the wall.
  38.  
  39.     Bashir moves to help O'Brien, but Goran'Agar has his 
  40.     weapon out and trains it on Bashir.
  41.  
  42.                     GORAN'AGAR
  43.                 (to Bashir)
  44.             Stay where you are.
  45.  
  46.     Bashir freezes in place, helpless to aid O'Brien, who 
  47.     is struggling in vain against Arak'Taral's tightening 
  48.     grip. Goran'Agar glances at O'Brien, but keeps his 
  49.     weapon trained on Bashir.
  50.  
  51.                     GORAN'AGAR 
  52.                 (to Arak'Taral) 
  53.             Release him.
  54.  
  55.     Arak'Taral pays no attention... his grip tightens...
